Brahma Kumaris Traffic Control: A Meditation App for Students

Brahma Kumaris Traffic Control is an iPhone app specifically designed for students of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. With over 825,000 regular students in more than 100 countries, this app provides a convenient way for students to practice stopping their mind and engaging in silent meditation.

The app offers a schedule for meditation sessions, with specific times throughout the day: 3:30am, 5:45am, 7:00am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 5:30pm, 7:30pm, and 9:30pm. During these sessions, a traffic control song will play, helping users focus their attention and create a peaceful environment for meditation.

Brahma Kumaris Traffic Control can be run in both the background and foreground modes, allowing users to seamlessly integrate meditation into their daily routine. The app offers various options for song selection, including the "Standard" option for playing songs at standard times, the "Standard+Amrit" option for playing songs at both standard and Amrit times, and the "Shanti ki shakti se," "Nayi subah ke…," and "Om Shanti" options, which play songs every hour in addition to the standard times. Users can also choose the "Music1 only" and "Music2 only" options, which play songs every hour and during standard times. For those who prefer shorter meditation intervals, the app offers the "Music every 15 Min" option, which plays a song every 15 minutes.

While the song is playing, the app displays an image of Shiv Baba (Supreme Soul) on the screen, creating a visually soothing experience.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.
